Hiking paths which require a little bit more fitness take you through the famous Pinzgau grass mountains, which border Glemmtal and provide plenty of variety during your summer holiday in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Awaiting fit and experienced Alpinists is a special challenge - "Seven Summits of Saalbach" - 7 summits, 9 hours walking time, 24 kilometres and 1413 metres ascent – an unforgettable experience!

Those of you who are keen on via ferrata and climbing routes will be in paradise in Salzburg's Pinzgau, where every possible tour is available, in every difficulty level, from a hike with via ferrata section to climbing routes for those at an advanced level, all the way through to a climbing tour with 45 climb pitch sections. Should the weather be unsuitable for outdoor climbing, then you can train indoors in Saalfelden climbing hall, just 20 km from Saalbach.
